Since 2012

The Lighthouse Classic, now a nationally recognized event, has provided high-level basketball featuring competitive match-ups, the top players and teams from each state every November to Corinth, Mississippi.

The Best Players

The Lighthouse Classic has featured numerous outstanding players, with 22 of them advancing to the NBA. Notable names include Devin Booker (multiple NBA MVP), Mitchell Robinson, Wendell Carter Jr., Mississippi’s own Quinndary Weatherspoon, Malik Newman, Robert Woodard, and the latest NBA star – MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. This year is poised to add even more names to this prestigious list.

Community

Originally started as a means to fund The Lighthouse Foundation, an organization dedicated to equipping tomorrow's leaders today, the Lighthouse Classic has evolved into a community-building event. With generous support from local sponsors and businesses, along with over 100 volunteers, the Lighthouse Classic showcases the power of the Corinth community coming together, both on and off the court.

to make history?

This year, we will usher in the 12th annual Lighthouse Classic. This event will take place on November 28-29, 2025, at Corinth High School. We are more excited than ever about the competitive match-ups, the top players, and teams from each state, and for the first time since 2013, we will witness a girls’ game! The action will start on Friday at 10:00 am, and on Saturday, we’re relaxing the start time to 11:00 am. A total of 25 teams from 8 different states will take the hardwood in search of that coveted win. During the event, over 100 volunteers will be working to ensure that all teams and fans have a wonderful experience – from being shuttled from your vehicle to assistance with parking, to a warm welcome when you enter the facility. Our volunteers are amazing!
